My friend treated me to tea yesterday. I’m not sure what it is about those tiny sandwiches and a warm pot of earl grey, but it really lifts my spirits.

Halloween, because it’s so much fun; you can dress up, and it doesn’t require gifting or preparing a large feast!

Driving alongside huge semi-trucks on the highway that are zooming by at lightning speed.

Roasted red pepper pasta with chickpeas and basil, generously topped with parmesan cheese. DELICIOUS!

I made it a point to take some time off and engaged in absolutely no chores. Sure, there are clumps of pet hair drifting down the hallway and I’ll have to go grocery shopping after work, but I genuinely feel rejuvenated.
