Happy Tuesday! On the second day of the Fall 2024 Lipstick Challenge, I’m sporting a classic favorite — NARS Dragon Girl, a cool-toned red lip crayon.
I have the original version in the black packaging, may it rest in peace. NARS has revamped their lip crayon lineup into what’s now dubbed the Powermattes, and honestly, I sometimes question why brands feel the need to change what’s already great. Regardless, I prefer the color of the previous version, which I believe has a slightly cooler and more magenta hue.
A couple of quick notes before I head out! First, for some odd reason, I always mistakenly want to call this lipstick “Dragon Roll,” like it’s a sushi dish, haha! The second thing is, if I seem a bit dazed and bewildered in these snapshots (which I took right before heading to the office), it’s because my co-worker caught me in the act of taking selfies, and I felt a bit awkward having a complete photo shoot in my car so early in the day. 🙂
