It’s that season again! My favorite items for 2020 roundup is here, and I might just be more thrilled about it than you are? 🙂 I enjoy reflecting on the previous year to identify what I genuinely appreciate…and then justify indulging in them by creating this post. Ha!
Let’s dive right into it, shall we?
- Hmm. Is it inappropriate to kick things off with a drink? I’m a massive fan of eggnog, but when I tried this Evan Williams eggnog at a family Christmas gathering a few years back, it changed everything! It’s potent (in my view), making it a delightful drink to savor throughout the night!
- This compact portable heater has become my newest companion! I had an old one that I used for years at school, but it finally gave out. I adore this thing so much that I brought it home for my online teaching needs. It oscillates, has two heat settings, and even features a cool fan for those sudden hot flashes! Oy vey.
- I know. It resembles a computer mouse. But this device! It’s a SILENT computer mouse! I keep my laptop in the living room, and I like to be on my computer while we’re watching TV. The clicking was starting to drive me crazy. I feared it wouldn’t function properly, but it’s excellent!
- I love the Raskog utility cart from Ikea so much that I own three of them. The possibilities are endless, and I had to get this green one. Simply for the color.
- This customized puzzle is such a hit that I’m about to purchase my third one within a year! It was an ideal way to keep us entertained during quarantine, and it has turned into a cherished activity at family gatherings!
- Alright, hear me out. I’ve been a fan of Victoria Emerson bracelets for ages. But when she released Apple watch bands????? Every. single. time someone spots them on my wrist, I get a compliment. The one I own is shown above. And I may have just ordered another one.
- I began adding this powdered collagen to my coffee roughly a year ago, and it transformed my hair significantly. I was experiencing hair loss like CRAZY, and it was genuinely concerning—like panic-level concerning. I put one (flavorless) scoop into my morning coffee, and that extreme shedding has ceased! Now I can’t live without it.
- My pale skin always craves a self-tanner in the winter. My daughter uses this Isle of Paradise, and I “borrowed” it. It’s fantastic! I suggest spraying it and blending it in with a daily moisturizer for optimal coverage, but it looks so natural!
- We recently had a shed constructed in our backyard, and it motivated me to finally establish a cut flower garden (ten years after I initially desired one, but who’s counting?) Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden book has been an indispensable resource for me! I have pages marked, lines highlighted, notes jotted down…and let’s face it—the pictures are exquisite!
- For all my tall ladies out there, I saved the best for last. Long leggings! I’m 5’9″, and I’d estimate my legs comprise about 5’7″ of that. I’ve never been able to wear leggings without tall boots because I couldn’t locate them in sufficient lengths. These leggings are incredible! I purchased the 34″ inseam, but they go up to 36 inches! They are also high-waisted and fit beautifully. You’re welcome.
WHEW! I’m pretty sure all this typing has fulfilled my blogging quota for the year. I’m worn out. Ha! I hope you found something from my list! If you’re interested in what my friends are recommending, here are some links for you! They are definitely making me want to fill up my shopping carts, that’s for sure!
