So…what exactly is the Monday Poll?
Great question! Despite its label, it isn’t a genuine poll with clickable buttons. It’s simply a collection of somewhat random queries I’ve been sharing on this blog every Monday morning for what feels like a million years (since 2007).
1. If given the choice, where would you prefer to vacation: New Zealand, Alaska, Costa Rica or Switzerland?
I’d be thrilled to visit any of these destinations, but at the moment, Switzerland seems particularly appealing.
2. Ponytail or curls?
Hmm. I lean towards ponytails for their practicality, but they can sometimes give me a headache, so let’s choose curls instead. They’d need to be super loose though. And somewhat messy!
3. Have you ever had a job that required you to wear a uniform?
Sort of. During my time at the bakery, we had very strict safety regulations, like wearing closed-toed shoes, no nail polish, and keeping hair tied back.
4. If you were in school, which group would you likely socialize with: the athletes, the drama department, the band kids, or the honors society?
You’d probably find me with my crowd, which was the band kids. If not them, I’d be hanging out with the honors society. I was quite the nerd back in the day!
5. What’s on your self-care agenda for this week?
I’d love to treat myself to a bottle of Skinceuticals CE Ferulic! Also, a nap would be divine. 🙂
Your friendly neighborhood beauty enthusiast,
Karen

P.P.S. If you’re seeing this, thank you. I realize I’ve been pretty quiet lately, which is quite rare for MBB. I’m trying my utmost to juggle everything, and I worry I’m not succeeding very well, LOL! Nevertheless, I’m really making an effort. One thing I’ve been struggling with is this constant sensation of being exhausted ALL THE TIME. I’m not sure if it’s a mom thing, turning 40-something, holiday chaos (why is there always so much to do?), or a mix of it all. Just know that your visits here mean a lot to me. Much love to you, friend.
