It’s that time of year again! My favorite items for 2020 list is here, and I may be more thrilled about it than you are? 🙂 Reflecting on the past year to determine what I genuinely adore…and then justifying the expenditure by composing a post is so enjoyable. Ha!
Shall we dive right in?
- Hmm. Is it inappropriate to kick things off with some alcohol? I’m a massive eggnog enthusiast, but when I tried this Evan Williams eggnog at a family Christmas gathering a few years back, it was revolutionary! It’s quite potent (in my estimation), making it a delightful sipper all evening!
- This compact space heater has quickly become my best friend! I’ve relied on an old one for years in my classroom, but it finally gave out. I love this new heater so much that I brought it home for my virtual teaching sessions. It oscillates, features two heat settings, and even includes a cool fan for moments when those unexpected heating spells occur! Oy vey.
- I know. It resembles a computer mouse. But this device! It is a SILENT mouse! I keep my laptop in the living room, and I enjoy being on my computer while watching TV. The clicking was becoming quite bothersome. I feared this wouldn’t perform well, but it’s fantastic!
- I adore the Raskog utility cart from Ikea so much that I own three of them. The possibilities are limitless, and this green one simply had to be mine. The color sold me.
- This custom puzzle has become such a beloved item that I’m about to purchase my third one this year! It was the perfect activity to help us through lockdown, and it remains a cherished pastime during family gatherings!
- Alright, hear me out. I’ve been a fan of Victoria Emerson bracelets for ages. But when she launched Apple watch bands????? Every. single. time someone notices them on me, I receive a compliment. The one I own is shown above. And I may have just added another to my collection.
- I began adding this powdered collagen to my coffee about a year ago, and it dramatically improved my hair health. I was experiencing hair loss like CRAZY, causing significant concern—panic-level concern. I add one (flavorless) scoop to my morning coffee, and the excessive shedding has ceased! Now I can’t stop raving about the product.
- My pale skin consistently requires a self-tanner during winter. My daughter uses this Isle of Paradise, and I “borrowed” it. It’s fantastic! I recommend spraying it and then blending it with a daily moisturizer for optimal results, but it looks incredibly natural!
- We recently had a shed constructed in our backyard, which motivated me to finally establish a cut flower garden (a decade after I originally intended, but who’s counting?) Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden book has been an indispensable resource for me! I have pages highlighted, notes scribbled, and let’s just admit—the photos are stunning!
- For all my tall ladies out there, I saved the best for last. Long leggings! I’m 5’9″, and my legs are about 5’7″ of that height. I’ve never been able to wear leggings without tall boots because they weren’t long enough. These leggings are amazing! I purchased the 34″ inseam, but they also come in lengths up to 36 inches! They are high-waisted and fit like a dream. You’re welcome.
WHEW! I’m pretty sure all this typing fulfilled my blogging quota for the year. I’m worn out. Ha! I hope you found something from my collection! If you’re interested in seeing what my friends suggest, here are some links for you! They are definitely making me fill up my shopping carts, that’s for sure!
