Tabs was hongry today during our stroll. Not just a bit hungry, but hongry. He was famished! He couldn’t be bothered by the large turkeys clucking on the hill or the little children screaming at the neighborhood playground. He was too focused on tracking down the freshest, most delicious blades of grass, which were hard to come by today since the condo landscapers trimmed the hill this week.
Tabby adores Novato immensely, and we’re nearing the best season for kitty adventures. The days are pleasantly long now, allowing him more opportunities for walks.
The only downside is that everyone else seems to have the same idea, resulting in an increase in trespassers and violators of the Tabs the Cat Industries LLC property line.
As a result, at times Tabs has to flex his kitty muscles to remind them who’s in charge, and he’s always prepped to battle, since you never really know when another cat might attempt a hostile takeover. As you might know, the kitty modeling industry is fiercely competitive.
The ongoing threat from temperamental turkeys, overzealous humans, cranky kitties, and slobbering dogs keeps Tabs in a state of heightened alertness. Sometimes he even flinches at his own shadow…
