Honestly, though, I’m not sure about you, but this year has been a puzzle wrapped in a conundrum for me. We always say, “This year flew by so quickly!” but seriously, what transpired in 2025? I feel like I somewhat lost a year, like I went to bed last July and woke up in November. This felt like the cheetah of the 2020s! Raced right past.
Anyway…Thanksgiving. I can’t deny it — I have so much to be grateful for. I know we’re all living on borrowed time. Life is harsh and invariably too short. I’m thankful for my family and our health right now, and I’m appreciative of everything that has ever brought me joy, including you. 🙂

As is customary for this holiday, my thoughts frequently drift to memories of Tabs… He left us six years ago. Six years. And I still think of him every single day. That’s the unvarnished truth. Not a day passes when I don’t think of my tabby.

The newer members of the family aren’t so fresh anymore. Rosie has been around since 2019, and Marnie became part of the crew in 2023.
