I have yet to encounter an independent shop (and I frequent many) that isn’t excellent. I do most of my shopping online and always select independents. More often than not, the individual assisting you and preparing your order is the proprietor. Or at least, one of a very limited number of staff members. I can never understand why someone would purchase 20 cheap versions of an item from China on a marketplace, simply because they are economical. When, in reality, you only required one. Purchase one from a decent independent store; it will endure longer, won’t waste resources, and you’ll cherish and enjoy your investment far more.

Stop chasing bargains; it truly is a detrimental shopping philosophy. Bargain hunting is damaging this world. Cease it immediately! Instead, seek precisely what you need, pay a fair price for the product, and become an ethical shopper.
