Golden Oasis Couture Face Palette
The Golden Oasis Couture Face Palette is showcased in a gorgeous limited-edition mirrored compact featuring six cheek colors. Among these, three are shimmering highlighters, while three are blushes consisting of two shimmers and one matte. Among the recent blush releases, the YSL Make Me Blush formula stands out for its soft, blendable texture and beautiful colors. Original review here. Some of the colors closely resemble individual shades I already own. The peachy shimmer is similar to Restless Rose, and the rose pink shimmer is quite close to Nude Lavalliere.
This palette features a soft peachy gold shimmer, pale gold shimmer, pale iridescent pink sparkle, rose shimmer blush, deep magenta matte blush, and warm copper gold shimmer.
The highlighters have a strong shimmer, so if you prefer to avoid high-shimmer products, I suggest choosing a different face palette.
I absolutely adore this one. It truly has everything needed for a holiday look, and I appreciate that the shimmers can also be used on the eyes.
New Holiday Lip Colors
There are two new Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil Gloss shades: 100 Sparkling Dream and 12 Honey Moon. I tested these earlier this year and you can read my review here. I adore the colors and shine, but the plumping effect is intense, and the sting and tingle can be overwhelming for me. Nonetheless, I decided to give them another try since the colors are SO stunning, yet I still can’t wear them comfortably on my lips. However, when layered over a lipstick, the base acts as a buffer, making the plumping gloss more tolerable. All shades are swatched in this video here.
As a fan of Candy Glaze, I am thrilled about the new shades in this formula (you can find my original review here). 21 Shimmer Nude is a lovely pale opalescent champagne beige that appears quite light on my skin tone. 22 Shimmer Rose is the must-have shade, in my opinion. It’s a gorgeous soft rose pink. Although it’s currently sold out online, I highly recommend utilizing the Buy Online Pick Up In Store option – it’s a fantastic way to reserve products online for convenient pickup. I also use it to verify stock at my local store before visiting. By popular request, I made a few comparisons with other rose tones and additional Candy Glaze shades. I’m particularly fond of the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in 083 Sparkling Rose, which is a slightly warmer version of YSL 22 Shimmer Rose (but in gloss form).
Overall, I adore everything in this collection color-wise. Although the plumping lip glosses aren’t wearable for me, the colors are absolutely stunning, scoring a 10/10. If you consider purchasing just one item from this launch, I believe that Candy Glaze 22 is the standout. I highly recommend adding these to your list for the upcoming Sephora Sale starting on the 31st for Rouge Members!
