No joke, how did an entire decade slip by since Connor was born? Time truly is a wild journey, man.

Kids shrieking (with joy), Marnie Mae barking and pursuing the aforementioned children, along with the robotic noises of laser tag equipment.

Ugh, these two furry companions chose this year to wreak havoc. Rosie chewed on the ends of some pine branches. Marnie Mae took it upon herself to obliterate every ornament on the lower section of the tree.

There were many, but one that stands out is a graphic novel Connor lent me called “Smile” by Raina Telgemeier. Growing up in the Bay Area during the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, the narrative resonates with that time period.
