This month, Dior has unveiled several new beauty products that I am really enjoying! I got the new Forever Blush Soft Filter ($49 each, available now at Dior and Nordstrom) from my nearby Dior Beauty Boutique and I truly appreciate the formula. These are soft matte liquid blushes featuring a whipped texture. They require a bit more effort to blend but once applied with a brush or fingers, they create a very smooth, almost airbrushed finish.
Because liquid blushes often darken on my skin, I chose the lighter neutral shades. I’m pleased to share that these do not oxidize or darken – they remain true to their color, and once blended, they offer a very soft appearance on the skin. You can layer them for additional pigment or color without it appearing or feeling heavy.
The texture is incredibly soft, akin to a mousse formula. They come with a sponge tip applicator for dabbing onto the skin. For blending, I’ve been enjoying the Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation Brush, No 15 Blush Brush, and the Fenty Brush 125 – however, any blush brush you already own will work just fine.
The staying power is quite impressive. They remain intact and look fresh for hours without slipping off the skin. I haven’t tested them in full outdoor humidity for prolonged periods as it’s currently too hot to be outside for long (unless in the shade). Nonetheless, they held up remarkably well during a couple of hours at dinner outdoors, so I’m very pleased with their performance.
I swatched all the shades in-store except for one (they didn’t have a tester). Even though they are highly pigmented and opaque, I genuinely appreciate how they blend onto the skin.
I purchased six shades, and I think the shade selection is excellent. They offer neutrals along with bolder shades across a diverse color palette. I continue to use the Dior Forever Perfect Foundation Stick in 3N.
