Alright, I understand. I rarely post anything. Stop the shaming! Actually, please do keep it coming! We need to get this blog rolling again, right? Let’s kick things off with one of my absolute (and very few) entries for the year–my favorite things!!
If there’s something I truly enjoy, it’s shopping. So narrowing down my favorites turned out to be a tougher task than anticipated. Just to clarify–I ADORE every single item I’m featuring here. I take this post quite seriously. Ha!
If that isn’t a mixed bag of goodies, I don’t know what is! Leggings! Highlighters! Toilet lever! Hold on, what? Let me clarify…
Favorite Things 2021
- Gold Toilet Lever: Absolutely. It revolutionized my toilet experience! Wait. It really transformed my toilet’s experience. That sounds better. Trust me on this. It’s a small yet significant upgrade for a compact bathroom.
- Gold Initial Necklace: I’ll admit, a few of these pieces belong to my daughter, but I thought they were worth mentioning. Just so you know, I’m a high school teacher, and all the girls are sporting these necklaces. Aren’t they lovely?
- Countertop Ice Machine: We have a full bar in our basement, but we lacked sufficient ice for serving drinks. This ice maker is super discreet, incredibly quiet, and produces all the ice we need! Plus, the price is fantastic!
- Smart Phone Tripod: Oh man, this is a lifesaver! It’s essential when we’re trying to capture any group pictures!
- Tinkle Razors: I adore these so much that I give them out to my friends like treats! They effectively remove that fuzzy hair from your face! It might sound bad, but believe me. Your makeup applies better, your moisturizer goes on smoother, and I notice that my tanning bronzer works better too!
- Leggings: Here’s another favorite of my daughter. I felt like I kept spotting them in my Amazon cart, so I took a closer look. She has FIVE pairs of these! They come in such beautiful colors; I can’t blame her.
- Greeting Card Organizer: I raved about this on Instagram, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re someone like me who tends to be last-minute, this is super handy! Running late for a graduation party? Just grab and go! Thank you, little card box.
- Slimming Swimsuit: Look. I’m not a fashion influencer. But when I put this swimsuit on, I got so many compliments. I look much better when I keep said body submerged underwater. 🙂 No kidding–it’s lovely!
- Makeup Mirror: Another treasure of Little Miss. She purchased this for her dimly lit dorm room and can’t stop praising it. Her roommate owns one too.
- Travel Jewelry Organizer: I’ve been lucky to travel a lot throughout my life, and I’ve developed a keen sense for what works and what doesn’t. This thing is amazing! I don’t wear much jewelry, so I never thought I needed one. Uh, I was mistaken.
- Family Passport Wallet: On the topic of travel… I can’t believe I ever did without this! Anyone who’s traveled internationally with kids is like, “Preach! This thing is a game changer!” and they’re absolutely right.
- Hair Claw Clips: Raise your hand if you have fine, slick hair. *Raises hand. NOTHING stays in my hair, and it’s maddening! My daughter bought these, and after seeing how effective they were, I quickly snagged a couple. Score!
- Pastel Highlighters: Oh goodness. Where were these when I was in school?! These highlighters are the best tool for school/work/life I’ve invested in YEARS. I love them and use them every. single. day.

And 2020 featured the Victoria Emerson watch band that receives compliments every. single. day and collagen powder that kept my hair from shedding! I’m serious.
