Best Selections and Suggestions of 2020

It’s that season again! My favorite items for 2020 article is finally here, and I might be even more thrilled about it than you are? 🙂 I enjoy reflecting on the past year to see what I genuinely cherish…and then justify the expense by crafting a blog post. Ha!

Let’s dive right in, shall we?

  • Hmm. Is it a poor choice to kick things off with drinks? I’m a massive fan of eggnog, but when I tried this Evan Williams eggnog at a family Xmas gathering a few years back, it was a total revelation! It’s potent (in my view), making it an excellent sipper while enjoying the evening!
  • This compact heater has become my new best companion! I had an old one for ages in my classroom, but it finally gave out. I love this one so much that I took it home to use during my virtual teaching sessions. It oscillates, offers two heat options, and even includes a cool fan for those hot moments! Oy vey.
  • I know. It resembles a computer mouse. But this device! It’s a SILENT computer mouse! I keep my laptop in the living room, and I prefer to be on my computer while we watch tv. Unsurprisingly, the clicking was becoming irritating. I was concerned this wouldn’t function well, but it’s fantastic!
  • I adore the Raskog utility cart from Ikea so much that I own three of them. Its versatility is limitless, and this green one simply had to be mine. Mostly because of its color.
  • This custom puzzle is such a favorite that I’m about to buy my third one this year! It was the perfect way to help us through quarantine, and it has turned into a nostalgic activity during family gatherings!
  • Alright, listen up. I’ve been a supporter of Victoria Emerson bracelets for quite a while. But when she launched Apple watch bands????? Every. single. time someone spots them on me, I receive compliments. The one I own is shown above. And I might have just bought another one.
  • I began adding this powdered collagen to my coffee almost a year ago, and it significantly transformed my hair. I was losing hair like CRAZY, and it genuinely started to worry me—like panic levels of concern. I put a (flavorless) scoop in my morning coffee, and that drastic shedding has ceased! Now, I can’t recommend it enough.
  • My pale skin always craves a self-tanner during the winter months. My daughter uses this Isle of Paradise, and I “borrowed” it. It’s so nice! I suggest spraying it and blending it with a daily moisturizer for optimal coverage, but it’s incredibly natural looking!
  • We just had a shed constructed for our yard, and it motivated me to finally establish a cut flower garden (ten years after I initially wanted one, but who’s counting?) Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden book has been an invaluable resource for me! I have pages flagged, lines highlighted, notes jotted down…and let’s be honest—the imagery is stunning!
  • For all my tall ladies out there, I saved the best for last. Extra-long leggings! I’m 5’9″, and I estimate my legs make up about 5’7″ of that height. I have never been able to wear leggings without tall boots because I couldn’t find them long enough. These leggings are amazing! I purchased the 34″ inseam, but they go up to a 36-inch length! They are also high-waisted and fit beautifully. You’re welcome.

WHEW! I’m fairly certain all this typing has fulfilled my blogging quota for the year. I’m wiped out. Ha! Well, I hope you managed to discover something from my list! If you’re interested in seeing what my friends are recommending, here are some links for you! They are definitely making me fill up my shopping carts, that’s for sure!
