This is the way I envision my blogging. I want to beautify my home, and then have someone else handle all the photography and editing. Is that really too much to request? 🙂 Christmas decorating brings me so much joy, and I adore that warm, cozy atmosphere, you know? Sooo I just had to share.
Step into my Christmas-themed black and green office, which doubles as my new teaching space. Take my word for it, it doesn’t usually appear like this. The combination of the office desk and leather chair perfectly complements the dark bookshelves.
This year, I opted for very simple colors (surprise). These hues bring me the most happiness, and that should be their purpose, right? I came across the garland at a consignment shop for $12 a few years back. Adding some ribbon completed the ensemble perfectly!
I’m dubbing this the year of the candle. Apparently, they’ve become my favorite this season? I love decorating this console table because it instantly transforms the room’s vibe!
Here’s my view from the kitchen, of course while I’m baking cookies. Ha! I often receive inquiries about this mirror (similar) and my rug! I cherish both!
Since I’ve been home more (thanks to virtual teaching-yay), I had some extra time to set up another Christmas tree. This flocked tree found a spot in my bedroom, and I might never decide to take it down! (Okay, that’s a bit of a stretch.)
The ornaments were all marked down from Kirkland’s last year, and I picked up the tree from At Home. I adore the color scheme!
I’m pretty convinced it’s my favorite tree of all time…and it’s mainly just my husband and I who get to enjoy it. Go figure. 😉 I have a couple more areas to showcase, but these are our primary spots.
