For over ten years, my daily outfit has frequently featured items from the French label Sézane (such as their chore coat, cozy jeans, and reliable sneakers). Therefore, I was thrilled to stop by their new store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this weekend…
Upon entering, we were welcomed with croissants and lemonade.
The airy space was adorned with a colorful knit wall…
…stunning autumnal browns…
…and stylish patent boots.
The Sézane team was fantastic, assisting everyone with sizing and experimenting with styling combinations. Many team members are French, and I enjoyed listening to the variety of regional accents.
I tried on the softest hoodie sweater paired with ’70s-style trousers and double-strap heels…
…and how stunning is their bucket bag in the chocolate croc design?
Out of nowhere, a delightful aroma drifted into the store, and I learned that Sézane was preparing crêpes outside for those passing by. You could select either Nutella or sugar and lemon. (Which one would you choose? I opted for the latter.)
Afterward, I donned their classic trench coat — available in 12 shades, including gingham — over a Peter Pan collar shirt and wide-leg jeans.
At last, we bid farewell to their lovely team — how gorgeous is that plaid coat featuring a detachable scarf?! — and promised to return soon.
