Since 1997, Women in Networking (WIN) Cleveland has committed to a singular mission: assisting local women in connecting, learning, and flourishing. Established by Barbara Baxter, who “sought a space where women could be listened to, understood, and valued—a forum for personal and collective growth,” WIN carries on that tradition today by offering avenues for professional advancement, personal relationships, and community assistance.
With monthly networking gatherings, the WIN Cleveland Business Major Scholarship, and collaborations with local charities focused on women, WIN uplifts women throughout Northeast Ohio.
This year, under the guidance of President Michelle Ryb, WIN proudly collaborates with its 2025 In-Kind Charity beneficiary, Connecting for Kids, a nonprofit that offers resources, support, and community for families concerned about their child’s well-being. Their programs assist families dealing with mental health issues, developmental delays and disabilities, and significant life transitions.
WIN also invests in the emerging generation of female leaders through the WIN Cleveland Business Major Scholarship, awarded to female students at Ursuline College who are current juniors, seniors, or in graduate-level business programs. In 2024, due to the generosity of WIN members and sponsors, scholarships totaling $6,000 were granted.
The signature event of the year is WIN’s Annual Fundraising Luncheon, which unites the community in celebration and support. This year’s luncheon is scheduled for Friday, December 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellavie by Marigold Catering, 700 Beta Drive. Attendees will be treated to an uplifting keynote speaker, raffle baskets, and ample time to network with other professionals. Proceeds from the luncheon support WIN’s scholarship program and community collaborations.
