“Honoring the Happiness and Essence of Christmas”

"Honoring the Happiness and Essence of Christmas"

Greetings, my dear friend. Wishing you a Merry Christmas! I trust that you’re enveloped in love, tranquility, and happiness today.

We returned from Hawaii a few days back, and it’s been a flurry of baking cookies, writing cards, and delivering gifts since then. Yet, the aloha spirit still resonates within me, keeping me warm and snug on this brisk day in the Bay Area.

How have your holiday festivities been thus far? It feels like mine passed by in an instant. While I wished to accomplish so much more for the people in my life, I’ve come to understand that at some point, one must accept that there are only so many hours in a day and a finite amount of energy, and you can only do your best. It has genuinely been a season of grace at this side of the keyboard. Grace for myself and grace for others.

Anyway, since I spent the majority of last week with my feet in the sand, here are some pictures I’ve been wanting to share from my trip. Even though I’ve visited Hawaii many times, the breathtaking beauty at every turn continues to amaze me.

Oh, did Santa bring you something that you’re particularly excited about? I received a book titled “Girl Dinner,” filled with snack plate ideas and beautiful imagery. I’m all about snack plates for any meal of the day, LOL! I can’t wait to try something from it.

I hope the remainder of your Christmas day is warm and brimming with love. Thinking of you on this lovely day!

Your local beauty enthusiast,

Karen
