"Just a Girl Blog: Key Moments from the 2020 Christmas Tour"

This is how I envision my blog. I want to adorn my home, and then have someone else capture all the images and enhance them. Is that too much to wish for? 🙂 I absolutely adore decking the halls for Christmas, and I cherish that warm ambiance, you know? Sooo I had to share.

Step into my black and green Christmas workspace—formerly known as my classroom. Believe me when I say it doesn’t usually appear like this. This office desk combined with a leather chair is an ideal match for the dark bookshelves.

I kept the color scheme really simple this year (surprise). Those colors bring me the most happiness, and I guess that’s the purpose of them, right? I discovered the garland at a consignment shop for $12 a few years back. I added some ribbon to it, and it really pulls the look together!

I’m dubbing this the year of the candle. Evidently, they’re my go-to this season? This console table is a favorite to decorate since it instantly transforms the feel of the room!

This is my view from the kitchen. While I’m whipping up cookies, of course. Ha! I often get questions about this mirror (similar) and my rug! I adore them both!

Since I’ve been home more (virtual teaching—yay), I had a bit more time to set up another Christmas tree. I placed this flocked tree in my room, and I might leave it up forever! (That’s a fib.)

The ornaments were all from last year’s clearance at Kirkland’s, and the tree was bought from At Home. I’m in love with the color mix!

I’m pretty sure it’s my favorite tree ever…and only my husband and I see it. Go figure. 😉 I do have a few more areas to display, but these are our main spaces. I hope you enjoyed the tour! If you’d like to explore more beautiful spaces, pleeeease check out my friends’ homes too!
