Top Selections of 2020: A Compilation of Favorites

It’s that season again! My top things for 2020 post is here, and I believe I’m more thrilled about it than you might be? 🙂 I enjoy reflecting on the past year to see what I genuinely adore…and then justify spending on it by composing a post. Ha!

Let’s dive right in, shall we?

  • So, is it inappropriate to kick off with alcohol? I’m a massive fan of eggnog, but when I tasted Evan Williams eggnog at a family Christmas gathering a few years back, it was a total game-changer! It’s potent (at least in my view), making it an excellent sipper throughout the night!
  • This compact heater has become my new best buddy! I’ve relied on an old one for ages in my classroom, but it finally gave out. I adore this item so much that I took it home for my virtual teaching. It oscillates, presents two heat levels, and even includes a cool fan for those warm flashes! Oy vey.
  • I recognize it looks like a computer mouse. Yet this gadget! It’s a SILENT computer mouse! I keep my laptop in the living room, and I enjoy being on my computer while watching tv. To say the least, the clicking was becoming bothersome. I feared it wouldn’t function as intended, but it’s genius!
  • I cherish the Raskog utility cart from Ikea so much I’ve ended up with three of them. The possibilities are limitless, and this green version simply had to be mine. Just because of its color.
  • This custom puzzle is such a favorite that I’m about to purchase my third one in just one year! It was the ideal way to navigate quarantine, and it continues to be a sentimental activity at family gatherings!
  • Alright, listen up. I’ve been a supporter of Victoria Emerson bracelets for ages. But when she released Apple watch bands????? Every. single. time someone spots them on me, I receive a compliment. The one I own is featured above. And I might have just ordered another one.
  • I began adding this powdered collagen to my coffee around a year ago, and it has dramatically improved my hair. I was losing hair like CRAZY, and it was genuinely concerning me—with a sense of panic. I mix one (flavorless) scoop into my morning coffee, and that excessive shedding has ceased! Now I can’t live without the stuff.
  • My pale skin always requires a self-tanner in the winter months. My daughter uses this Isle of Paradise, and I “borrowed” it. It’s fantastic! I suggest spraying it and blending it with a daily moisturizer for the best results, but it looks so natural!
  • We recently constructed a shed in our backyard, and it motivated me to finally establish a cut flower garden (ten years after I initially wanted one, but who’s counting?) Floret Farm’s Cut Flower Garden book has become an essential resource for me! I have pages marked, lines highlighted, and notes written down… and let’s be honest—the photographs are stunning!
  • For all my tall ladies out there, I saved the best for last. Long leggings! I’m 5’9″, and I’d estimate my legs make up about 5’7″ of that. I had never been able to wear leggings without tall boots because I couldn’t find any long enough. These leggings are amazing! I purchased the 34″ inseam, but they go up to 36 inches! They are also high-waisted and fit beautifully. You’re welcome.

WHEW! Pretty sure all this typing has fulfilled my blogging limit for the year. I’m wiped out. Ha! I hope you managed to discover something from my list! If you want to check out what my friends are recommending, here are some links for you! They’re definitely making me fill my shopping carts, that’s for sure!
