I can’t quite recall if I posted about this on the blog previously, but during the yearly Novato Labor Day parade, while Rosie was officiating and guiding the Novato NASA chapter’s float to showcase cats and kittens in the space program and encourage STEM, there was a MASSIVE heist.
The Dread Pirate Picklebeak, the most nefarious woodpecker in all of Novato, hit the Marin County Cat Credit Union. 😮
It all went down right before everyone’s eyes while they were basking in the parade festivities.
Indeed, it turned into quite the scandal. The thieves made off with a whopping million dollars’ worth of diamonds and forty pounds of kibble!
And they never apprehended Picklebeak either.
I really hope we don’t witness anything wild like that again this year. Labor Day is one of Rosie’s cherished holidays, and she simply wants to honor hard work and take a break with friends and family for a day. 😊
