Premier Summer Scents for 2026

Premier Summer Scents for 2026

This year, I’ve come across some intriguing new fragrances! After sticking to my reliable favorites for so long, I feel like I’ve finally expanded my horizons, and I have several summer favorites to share with you.

At this point, I’ve built quite the collection of perfumes. My love for citrus scents continues, giving that fresh and clean sensation. Today, I’m highlighting my top 10 favorites.

Creed Wild Vetiver

If I had to choose a signature fragrance for the year, it would undoubtedly be the new Creed Wild Vetiver. It’s by far the most complimented scent I’ve worn – it stops everyone in their tracks, and even Andrew adores this one on me. It leans unisex, but I find it has a more feminine essence.

Very intense, possibly my strongest and longest-lasting fragrance. It features a bold vetiver alongside floral notes like rose, geranium, pink pepper, blackcurrant, cedarwood, and bergamot.

I really appreciate the Creed Refillable Atomizers. They’re quite sophisticated, and I love the new green they released with Wild Vetiver. I’ve given almost every color as gifts, and they’ve always been warmly received.

Creed Virgin Island Water

This is another classic that I cherish. I believe Virgin Island Water was the very first Creed fragrance I ever bought, and I’ve been devoted to it since the initial spritz. It has a tropical aroma that I could wear all year long. Having lived in San Diego, Tampa, and Miami, I feel like I could enjoy it year-round, but it truly embodies summer in a bottle. (Quick note: Creed has been refreshing the packaging and design of some scents, so yours might look a little different.)

It boasts a truly unique and recognizable blend of coconut, bergamot, tropical fruits, lime, musk, and jasmine.

Chanel Les Eaux de Chanel

The fragrance I wear most often and repurchase regularly is Chanel Les Eaux de Chanel Paris-Biarritz (with Paris-Riviera being a close second). I’ve worn this continuously every year since its launch 8 years ago. To me, it’s the perfect gentle citrus that I can sport all year. It is on the subtle side, so if you prefer something bold and powerful, this might not be the one for you.

This scent is elegant and uplifting without being overwhelming. It’s characterized by Sicilian Mandarin paired with Lily of the Valley Accord. I absolutely adore it.

Celine

I adore Celine Fragrances. I find them so underrated. They can be a bit tricky to locate as you can only purchase directly from Celine’s website or a boutique. They do offer discovery sets that are simply beautiful.

For many years, my go-to was Parade, which I still cherish, but if you’re seeking something distinctive and do not want to smell like anyone else, Un Ete Francais is a lovely choice. It’s a summery floral featuring bergamot, neroli, and petitgrain.

Memo Paris

I was introduced to Memo Paris through some friends I made in Miami. I was literally influenced by Erin Nicole on Memo Paris Cap Camarat. Her impeccable taste left me amazed by how incredible she smelled. I asked her about her fragrance and ordered it right away.

Cap Camarat genuinely surprised me with its vanilla notes; while I enjoy vanilla, I typically can’t wear it in hot and humid months (which is essentially year-round in Florida). This isn’t your standard vanilla. It’s not sweet at all—more of a sultry salty kind. It has pink peppercorn, fruity apple, ylang-ylang, jasmine, sandalwood, benzoin, Amyris, patchouli, and labdanum. None of these notes usually attract me, yet the combination is so unique that I am completely taken with it.

The beauty lies in the drydown for me. I adore this for date nights.

Menorca is one of the newest launches from Memo Paris. So far, it’s exclusively available at Memo Paris and sold out quickly. It was pure love at first scent as it combines citrusy bergamot with lemon and salty musk undertones. It’s full of my favorite notes. It’s lemony but not overwhelmingly so. It’s reminiscent of Dior’s new Dior Paradise, which I like (I bought the travel sizes), but I prefer Menorca as it’s slightly less lemony (if that makes sense).

Chloe Atelier des Fleurs

I sampled some scents from the Chloe Atelier des Fleurs line this year for the first time, and they are stunning. Very green, earthy, and different from most Chloe scents I’ve experienced! I particularly love Plage du Figuier, which has a fresh green fig essence. It’s airy, light, and very green. I appreciate that it’s sweet but not overly so. It’s warm yet fresh.

Dior La Collection Privee

Dior has some of the most exquisite fragrances I’ve encountered, and I’m always eager to explore anything new from La Collection Privee. I especially appreciate their customization options, including Couture Caps (available in two sizes), engraving, and various cases. From this collection, I have two favorite summer scents. Eden Roc is truly lovely, particularly for those who enjoy salty marine fragrances. It reminds me of a luxurious seaside spa getaway. There are floral notes, but they’re subtle. It features a blend of sea salt, jasmine, coconut, pine, and labdanum.

Dioriviera ranks in my top 3. It showcases the most luscious fig paired with rose, which I think balances it out, preventing it from being overly tart or sweet. This fragrance evokes the sensation of an extravagant vacation. It’s warm, green, fruity, sweet, and floral all at once. Its longevity is impressive, and it’s potent on my skin. I appreciate that it remains true to its scent.

Kilian Paris

Kilian Sunkissed Goddess embodies that classic summer-in-a-bottle fragrance. It’s such a beautiful white floral. If you adore Tiare Flowers and Ylang-Ylang, this is an iconic choice.

I have many more that I currently enjoy, but I aimed to keep this list to just 10 favorites, specifically for summer!

If you have any favorite summer scents, please share them with me. I greatly appreciate your recommendations, and I love hearing what everyone is wearing.
