The Rhode Pocket Blushes are arguably my two go-to cream blushes. I adore them for that effortless burst of color on my cheeks. The colors are flattering and blend seamlessly. They’ve accompanied me on many journeys!
Teacup is a muted raspberry mauve and Candy Apple is a striking reddish pink. Both shades appear vibrant when swatched, but due to their excellent blendability, you can certainly manage the intensity for a more subtle blush effect. Both new shades are definite winners for me. I believe Candy Apple is a truly beautiful, flattering red.

Peptide Lip Tints – fresh hues
I’ve had a range of thoughts regarding the Peptide Lip Tint. It’s been some time since I’ve used one, as I disposed of most of mine a year ago while relocating to Miami. I did a considerable decluttering and noticed that most had developed an odd gritty texture. Reports I’ve come across suggest this might be due to temperature changes, but just to be safe, I discarded them. I’ve since purchased new ones. Recent reviews indicate that this problem has been resolved, and it appears to be true so far!
Time will reveal the formula’s stability, but I truly like the new shades. Sweet Pea is a warm sheer pink. I think it shares a similar vibe color-wise with Patrick Ta’s Major Moisture Smoothing Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm in Pink Salted Caramel (the Rhode version has a glossier, glass-like finish). Rhode labels Sweet Pea as “pearly,” but for some reason, I don’t detect any shimmer or iridescent quality in mine.
Pretzel is a shimmery mauve. This shade is characterized as “warm,” but on me, it definitely leans towards neutral or cool-toned. Nevertheless, it remains a really lovely shade.
