Chanel Beauty’s summer has officially launched with the introduction of their Les Beiges Coastal Summer Collection. I managed to grab a few items, but unfortunately, I couldn’t snag the Les Beiges Summer Essentials basket set before it was sold out.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Eyeshadow Palette
My top pick from this collection has to be the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Eyeshadow Palette in Soft ($77). It features the most beautiful neutrals for a touch of color, definition, and radiance. The pigment is quite soft, which I adore for a delicate look! The texture is incredibly smooth.
Rouge Coco Flash
The Rouge Coco Flash is currently my go-to lip formula from Chanel, and the three new summer shades showcase remarkable pigmentation! The new shades include Sweet (a neutral, my favorite), Zesty (a tomato red), and Fruity (a plum). Based on your responses to this preview post, it seems that many of you are fond of the purple shade!
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush + Highlighter
I enjoy experimenting with new complexion products, especially from the Les Beiges line for that effortless no-makeup-makeup glow. However, I’m on the fence about the new Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush in Sorbet and the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Highlighter in Summer Gleam ($56 each). I absolutely LOVE the idea and colors, but I found them a tad tricky to apply and blend without disrupting my foundation.
There are three Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush shades (one exclusive to that sold-out set) and two individual shades. I chose Sorbet, the pink, which is the most stunning shimmery pink.
There is one Les Beiges Healthy Glow Highlighter in Summer Gleam, a pearlescent soft frosty pink shimmer. On my skin, it appears pale, nearly white, but in real life, you can catch a subtle pink shift in the light.
I do appreciate them if I apply just the blush, or if I blend the blush + highlighter on the back of my hand before applying to my face. The blending effort is a bit too much for my liking, but the colors are beautiful.
New Le Vernis
There are two new shades of Le Vernis, and your reactions have taken me by surprise! Many of you adore Garconne, which aligns so closely with my skin that it creates mannequin hands. I’m personally not a fan, but you ladies love it! I think Baigneuse is such a playful blue! I plan to try it on my toes for my next pedicure.
Les Beiges Serum Concealer
An additional new launch is the Les Beiges Serum Concealer ($53 each). Although it’s not technically part of the Les Beiges color line, it debuts this summer. I believe it’s one of the most stunning glowy concealers I’ve ever used. I tested both B30 and B40 here; I prefer B30 for my BD41 Chanel skintone.
