The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has returned! Nordstrom Cardholders can enjoy early access based on their tier on the following dates:

I was particularly keen on exploring the beauty exclusives and sunglasses. I posted a brief glimpse of what caught my eye in-store in this Instagram Reel here.
The Beauty Exclusives appeared to predominantly feature value sets or large sizes. Although I already possess many of the shades from this year’s collections, I believe there are several standout items worth considering. There are fantastic opportunities for savings, especially on fragrance sets! Additionally, if you’re on the hunt for beauty products, don’t overlook the GIFTS WITH PURCHASE. Many of these will change, and some are available online only.
Sunglasses
I always anticipate the sunglasses they offer at each sale. I tried on the Celine Bold Three Dots 51 mm pair but ended up preferring the 55 mm version that I already have. There were numerous fabulous Tom Ford sunglasses on sale that were incredibly stylish. These larger butterfly styles were adorable, but similar to a pair I purchased last year. I ultimately chose these oval frame sunglasses in a lighter hue for fun.
Beauty Exclusives – Makeup
There are numerous excellent value sets featuring top-selling makeup items. If you had your eye on anything specific, I think there are some fantastic savings available this year. Chanel Beauty offers a 3-piece set, but since I already possess the lipstick and have plenty of cleansers, I decided to skip this one.
Armani Beauty provides great sets if you’re interested in saving on their liquid eyeshadows or blushes. The Cheek Tint Liquid Blush Duo ($53) includes two of their best-selling pinks, while the Effortless Eyes Set ($62) contains a shimmer champagne, tan brown matte, and mini mascara.
Bobbi Brown consistently presents beautiful sets ideal for those desiring a classic, effortless look for either eyes or lips. I picked up the Eye Enhancer Eyeshadow Palette + Liner Set ($55), as I find the colors quite lovely.
The Hourglass Brush Trio Set ($146 on sale, $220 value) is back! This sold out quickly last year, and I’m thrilled they’ve reintroduced it. The Veil Translucent Setting Powder + Brush Set ($80 on sale) also offers a solid value.
MAC always has excellent lip sets. This year, many of the colors appeared to be repeats in the Satin Soft Lip Combo Kit ($33 on sale, $50 value). The combos include Crème in Your Coffee + Whirl and Crème Cup + Cork.
They also feature another neutrals set called the Glossy Comfort Lip Combo Kit ($33 on sale, $50 value) with Casual Lipglass Air and Velvet Teddy Lip Liner. Additionally, there’s a Night Nude Look in a Box Collection ($60 on sale, $105 value). I acquired the mini Pocket Plushies Brush Kit ($60), which I find adorable.
Westman Atelier has several stunning sets! All the shades are permanent, but I adore the Lip Edition Set ($79 on sale, $122 value). It comprises three full sizes: Rose Lip Suede Matte Lipstick, Chou Chou Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm, and Je Reve Lip Shape Lip Liner. I truly enjoy the combination, and you can see each shade being utilized here. She also offers a Petite Baby Cheeks Lit Up Duo ($35 on sale, $52 value) featuring Nectar and Petal.
YSL Beauty has several impressive sets, all containing permanent shades. I believe the Make Me Blush + Loveshine Set ($60 on sale) featuring Nude Lavalliere Blush + Loveshine is a timeless combination that’s hard to go wrong with. Personally, I love the Brown Look Eyeshadow Set ($81 on sale) since the 710 Over Brun Palette is one of their finest quads.
If you’re a fan of lip plumpers, the Loveshine Plumping Lip Oil ($53 on sale, $80 value) has two perfect pinks. I found this formula too potent for my lips, but I’ve attached swatches from a prior review below. This set consists of Lucky Moonstone and Nude Lavalliere.
Tom Ford Beauty usually offers delightful fragrance sets, but the Runway Lip Duo Gift Set ($85 on sale, $124 value) contains two of my favorite shades: Sable Smoke and Slip.
Beauty Exclusives – Fragrance + Body
The Nordstrom Sale is a dream for perfume aficionados, thanks to the value sets available. The Le Labo Discovery Fragrance Set ($210) was on my wishlist, and it was the first item I grabbed in-store. It includes miniatures of five scents and comes with a spritzer atomizer. I think that’s absolutely adorable. I already love Another 13, but it has been some time since I tried any other scents, so I feel this is a perfect fit for me.
I enjoy the Le Labo Shower Gels and Hand Soaps, which are usually available in jumbo sizes during the sale, so I picked up the Hinoki Shower Gel ($55) and might order a hand soap before the promotion concludes.
L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil Set ($62 on sale, $95 value) was another essential for me. Andrew really enjoys this one, so I was pleased to restock since we go through many bottles.
Parfums de Marly Signature Trio ($515 on sale, $765 value) is an exceptional set. I love all the fragrances it includes, and had I not already owned them, I would have definitely purchased this set. Several of you inquired whether I prefer the Valaya or Valaya Exclusif. I find both stunning, but I lean toward the exclusif version as it’s softer and less intense than the original. If you adore Delina, there’s a Delina + Exclusif Duo ($455 on sale, $675 value).
Byredo and Maison Francis Kurkdjian also present wonderful sets during the sale, but they frequently offer these during the holiday season. I genuinely admire the look of the Discovery Fragrance Trio ($475) as it features Baccarat Rouge 540, Kurky (which I love), and Grand Soir (which I haven’t tried but have heard fantastic things about). If this is beyond your budget for a discovery set, they also offer smaller vials in the My Wardrobe Set ($230).
Beauty Exclusives – Skincare
For skincare, I acquired the La Mer Most Loved Minis Set ($98) since I adore these for weekend getaways. I have plenty that I’m currently using, so I didn’t opt for any additional sets. I anticipate that many of these value sets will make a return for the holiday season as well. Augustinus Bader is another favorite, and they feature The Cream and The Rich Cream at reduced prices for the sale, along with additional sets.
Misc
I opted not to purchase shoes and clothing this year. I had many items on my radar, but after checking them out in-store, I decided to hold off for the moment. They consistently have an excellent array of Barefoot Dreams products that I adore, but I’ve chosen to wait for now. I do have my eye on this CozyChic Ribbed Cardigan—it seems perfect for winter! I was pleasantly surprised to discover Away Luggage at Nordstrom, though! They offer a few items on sale in limited-edition colors, including the Featherweight Weekend Bag, Mini Crossbody, and various suitcase sizes.
