Rhode’s Summer 2026 Apparel Line

Rhode's Summer 2026 Apparel Line

The Rhode Summer Collection 2026 has arrived, surpassing my expectations entirely. I ordered it on launch day, and although it took several weeks to arrive, I can confidently say it was worth the wait. I picked up a bit of everything, and for those trying to select the ideal bronzer shade, I have swatched four of them along with numerous comparisons below. Just a quick note – now that summer is upon us, I have a tan, so I’m no longer blending shades and can wear the Dior Forever Perfect Foundation Stick in 3N or 3WO without combining it with 2.5. I still match with Chanel Les Beiges BD41.

Pocket Bronze

I was really taken aback by the Rhode Pocket Bronze ($25 each) because I didn’t anticipate preferring them over Dior or Westman Atelier (for a cream formula). While I still find both of the other formulas fantastic, the Rhode Pocket Bronze stands out as the easiest to apply and blend on the skin. It’s creamy and seamlessly blends into a very natural bronze effect.

Comparing the formulas, Rhode’s is the creamiest, Dior’s has the most satin finish, and Westman Atelier falls in the middle. A key challenge with bronzers is finding the right undertone. Many of you lean towards neutral or cool tones, whereas I typically favor warmer hues. I was taken aback during this launch to find that the most golden shade appeared quite yellow on my skin.

If you share my skin tone, here’s how the four shades I purchased compare. Also wearing the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation in 3WO, Natasha Denona Tan Palette, Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown, Merit Tubing Mascara, Aritzia Halter Tank, with Nail Polish from Essie in Geranium and Mejuri Hoop Earrings.

Pebble – the most neutral undertone

Sip – warm golden, but looks a bit yellow on me

Sunbed – my ideal summer bronze (my favorite)

Bake – warm reddish undertones for a sun-kissed finish

Keep in mind I currently have a tan! I’m likely at least 1.5 shades darker than my usual tone. I still believe Sunbed would be my choice during the winter months.

Swatch comparisons are below to the Dior Forever Skin Bronze Sticks (review here), Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Duos (swatches here), Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Sticks (I also picked up a few new shades that appeared quite pink on me), and Merit Bronze Balm.

The Pocket Double Sided Brush ($25) is a very nice tool that blends the cream perfectly. I still hold mixed feelings regarding double-ended brushes due to storage concerns. This style ideally needs to be stored flat on a counter to keep the bristles intact.

Highlight Milk – Luminizer

I’m also enjoying the Highlight Milk Luminizer ($28). I’ve been a long-time fan of the standard version, and I believe the highlighter variant is a fantastic addition to the Rhode range. This has a very lightweight fluid consistency, and the shimmer is incredibly natural. It isn’t thick or oily, truly standing out as the most natural among the luminizers/mixers I’ve tried. For a quick texture comparison, the L’Oreal Glotion is thicker and more shimmery, while Armani Fluid Sheers are more sheer and slightly more emollient, and Saie Super Gel features a distinctly different texture.

I’ve tested all four shades, with my favorites being Shade 01 and Shade 02. Shade 03 gives my skin a tanned glow but is a bit too dark for me, whereas Shade 04 is definitely too deep for my current skin tone. You can apply these all over the face or mix with moisturizer or foundation. My preferred method is to blend them into my foundation. The finish is naturally radiant and glowing without appearing frosty or glittery.

Peptide Lip Tint

I couldn’t resist the limited-edition Peptide Lip Tint ($20) shades. Currently, they seem to be exclusive to Rhode and sold out very quickly. Each color is a beautiful variant of the perfect tan nude. I’m genuinely hoping Rhode will restock them or consider making them a permanent part of their line. It’s hard to fall in love with a limited-edition item.
