Rhode’s Summer Fashion Line for 2026

Rhode's Summer Fashion Line for 2026

The Rhode Summer Collection 2026 has arrived and it far surpassed my expectations in every aspect. I submitted my order on launch day and while it took several weeks to arrive, I must say that I believe it was worth the wait. I purchased a variety of items, and if you’re on the fence about selecting your ideal bronzer hue, I have four shades swatched along with numerous comparisons below. A quick note: I have a tan now that summer is upon us – I’m no longer blending shades and can wear the Dior Forever Perfect Foundation Stick in 3N or 3WO without needing 2.5. I still use Chanel Les Beiges BD41.

Pocket Bronze

The Rhode Pocket Bronze ($25 each) genuinely caught me off guard because I didn’t anticipate enjoying them more than Dior or Westman Atelier (with a cream formula). While I still regard the other two formulas as excellent, the Rhode Pocket Bronze is the easiest to apply and blend into the skin. It’s creamy and seamlessly transitions to a very natural bronze.

In terms of formulas, Rhode is the most creamy, Dior has the most satin finish, and Westman Atelier falls in between. The primary difficulty with bronzers is finding the suitable undertone for your skin. Many of you lean towards neutral or cool shades while I generally prefer warmer tones. I was surprised that the most golden shade in this launch appeared very yellow on my skin.

If you share my skin tone, here’s a comparison of the four shades I purchased. I am also wearing the Dior Forever Skin Perfect Foundation in 3WO, Natasha Denona Tan Palette, Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Brown, Merit Tubing Mascara, Aritzia Halter Tank, Nail Polish in Essie Geranium, and Hoop Earrings from Mejuri.

Pebble – the most neutral undertone

Sip – warm golden, but comes off a bit yellow on my skin

Sunbed – my ideal summer bronze (my favorite)

Bake – warm reddish undertones for that sun-kissed appearance

Keep in mind that I have a tan now! I am probably at least 1.5 shades darker than my usual tone. I still feel that Sunbed would be my choice even with my winter skin tone.

Swatch comparisons are included below with the Dior Forever Skin Bronze Sticks (review here), Westman Atelier Sun Tone Bronzing Duos (swatches here), Westman Atelier Face Trace Contour Sticks (I acquired several new shades to try, and they appear really pink on me), and Merit Bronze Balm.

The Pocket Double-Sided Brush ($25) is truly excellent and blends the cream flawlessly. I still have mixed feelings regarding double-ended brushes due to storage concerns. This style really needs to be stored flat on a counter to avoid messing up the bristles.

Highlight Milk – Luminizer

I’m also really enjoying the Highlight Milk Luminizer ($28). I’ve been a massive fan of the regular version, and I believe this highlighter variation is a fantastic addition to the Rhode lineup. It has a very thin fluid texture, and the shimmer appears quite natural. It’s neither thick nor greasy; in fact, it is the most natural luminizer/mixer I’ve tried. For a quick texture comparison, L’Oreal Glotion is thicker and shimmery, Armani Fluid Sheers is more sheer and slightly more emollient, while Saie Super Gel has a completely different texture.

I’ve tested all four shades, and my favorites are Shade 01 and Shade 02. Shade 03 gives my skin a bronzed glow, which is a bit too dark for me, whereas Shade 04 is definitely too deep for my current shade. These can be applied all over the face, or mixed with moisturizer or foundation. My preferred method is to blend it with foundation. The finish is naturally radiant and glowy without looking frostbitten or glittery.

Peptide Lip Tint

And I could not resist the limited-edition Peptide Lip Tint ($20) shades. Currently, they appear to be exclusive to Rhode and sold out very quickly. Each color is a stunning variation of the ideal tan nude. I truly hope Rhode will restock them or consider making them a permanent collection. It’s disheartening to fall for something limited-edition.

You can find the collection available now at Sephora and Rhode.
