I’m updating myself on some recent launches by Natasha Denona! She unveiled some gorgeous products this year, and while I did a few brief showcases on Instagram, I wanted to share additional insights and more swatch comparisons here.
Tan Eyeshadow Palette
The Tan Eyeshadow Palette ($72) is like a fantasy palette realized! These are precisely the shades I desire to wear daily. It features a breathtaking combination of soft beige hues, bronze taupes, sparkling toppers, and deep browns. I’ve been using it for almost a month, and it’s the one I’ve been selecting EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Many of you requested swatches next to I Need a Warm and her Glam Palette. I’ve included comparisons below. I Need a Warm is certainly warmer in undertone, but surprisingly, on my medium tan complexion, it doesn’t feel warm at all. In fact, I perceive it as more neutral on my skin. In contrast, Tan appears to be much more neutral, almost cool-toned on me. A lot of you wanted a direct comparison with her classic Glam palette, which I’ve always felt was quite cool-toned on my skin.

This year, my top two palettes have been the Natasha Denona Tan and YSL Nude Hours, which I was really disappointed to learn is a limited edition. I purchased it at launch, and it sold out before I even had the chance to review/swatch it, but I really hope they bring it back.
If you’re looking for a more concise version, I also adore the YSL Couture Mini Clutch in 710 Over Brun and just bought the 310 Exotic Mirage to try out. Quick note: the YSL quads retail for $69 each for 5 g, while the Natasha Denona Palette is $72 for 17.75 g and offers more variety.
Hy-Gloss Launch
Earlier in the spring, Natasha Denona introduced her Hy-Gloss Tinted Lip Gloss Balm ($28 each) alongside matching Lip Liners ($25 each) and two new shades of Hy-Blush Duos ($42).
The Hy-Gloss was recalled due to an issue with the scent in the formula. According to their PR team, “Our signature vanilla scent was compromised during production due to overworking the bulk, resulting in an unintended burnt scent.” As a result, they recalled the affected shades. They have since rectified the issue, although I didn’t experience any unusual scent in them.
The Hy-Gloss features a thick, cushiony gloss formula that feels very luxurious on the lips. While I didn’t find it overly tacky or sticky, it is on the thicker side. I genuinely appreciate the formula, and the shades are stunning.
Below are side-by-side swatches of the gloss and her suggested pencil pairings. I think her Lip Pencils are greatly underappreciated. They’re creamy and glide effortlessly on the lips, and once they set, they are EXCEEDINGLY long-lasting.
She also introduced two new Hy-Blush shades in Lush Lila, which is a really lovely unique lilac duo. Nude Muse provides the most perfect nude combination. Each duo contains a cream highlighter and a cream blush. While I really enjoy these, they’re not long-lasting during hot summer months as they are dewy and very creamy. I can prolong the wear by setting them with powder, and they perform well during a date night or dinner out. However, if you reside in a humid or hot environment, these will become extra dewy within a few hours.
Overall, the Tan Eyeshadow Palette is an excellent win for me. I adore the neutral tones, and after extensively using this palette, I can confidently say that I have utilized every shade, and each one performs exceptionally well.
