Westman Atelier Launches New Product Range

Westman Atelier has introduced several new products recently, and today I have a summary of my experiences with them!

New Baby Cheeks Shade – Fizz

Westman Atelier sometimes launches items exclusive to her website, and the newest addition is the Baby Cheeks Cream Blush Stick in Fizz ($48). I posted a quick demonstration last week, and it has already sold out; however, I hope it will be restocked eventually. Fizz is a vibrant warm pink. While it has a brightness similar to Poppet, the new Fizz shade is warmer and slightly brighter, making it more suitable for my golden/olive skin tone.

It blends out to a more authentic flush. Color-wise, I find it resembles Saie’s Dew Blush in Flirty and Rhode Pocket Blush in Juice Box (see review here). I also swatched it alongside the Hourglass Unreal Liquid Blush in Whim (review here), Prada Touch Blush in Tulip (demo here, review coming soon), Dior Rosy Glow Blush Stick in Ultra Pink (review here), Saie Dew Blush in Flirty, and Merit Blush Balm in Le Bonbon (in action here).

The performance aligns with all of Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks. If you have oily skin or reside in humid areas, you might not experience super long wear time, but layering a powder on top will enhance its staying power. I believe this formula is excellent for those with dry skin.

HydroBalm Sheer Tinted Lipstick

I am a fan of any lip balm release, so I was really eager to try her HydroBalm Sheer Tinted Lipsticks ($50 each). I found them slightly too sheer for my liking, but I think I selected some shades that weren’t the best match for my skin/lip tone. I ordered them without seeing them in person, and while I believe the formula is gorgeous, a few shades were too cool-toned and overly light for me.

I posted swatches on Instagram and a brief review here. I was quite surprised that so many of you appreciate this barely-there tint in your lip color! I initially passed on these in my review, and I can’t believe how many DMs I received from you expressing your love for them.

I do enjoy Pop and Juice. The pinks I chose are true neutrals, but these neuterals often appear very greyish or blue on my complexion. If you’re fair or light-skinned and struggle to find flattering shades, you might be fortunate with Westman Atelier’s HydroBalm line!

Nectar is a sheer, shimmery pale peach gold.

Juice is a sheer peach.

Ballerine is a cool mauve pink.

Pop is a sheer red.

English Rose is a mauve.

Lip Shape Defining Lip Liner

I also have some swatches of the Lip Shape Defining Lip Liners ($34). I really appreciate this formula because it’s a classic pencil that isn’t overly stiff but not too creamy or gel-like either. Sometimes I just prefer a traditional pencil for lining my lips. These apply smoothly and have excellent longevity.

Petal is my favorite among the shades I tried, closely followed by Je Reve. In my experience, the shades seem more neutral or cool on me compared to the online images. I didn’t do lip swatches for these, but you can see Petal here.

Overall, there are some stunning launches from Westman Atelier. The formulas are exceptionally good, and performance is a solid 10/10. For the lip balms, I simply wish they had more pigmentation and inclusion of warmer-toned pinks.
