I’m updating myself on some Natasha Denona releases! She introduced some gorgeous products this year and I shared a few brief features on Instagram but wanted to provide a few more insights and additional swatch comparisons here.
Tan Eyeshadow Palette
The Tan Eyeshadow Palette ($72) is the ultimate palette of my dreams! These are the exact shades I aspire to wear on a daily basis. It features a breathtaking assortment of soft beige shades, bronze taupes, sparkly toppers, and deep browns. I’ve been using this for almost a month and it’s the one I’ve been selecting EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Many of you requested swatches alongside I Need a Warm and her Glam Palette. I have comparison images below. I Need a Warm definitely has a much warmer undertone, but what surprises me is that on my medium tan skin tone, I don’t perceive it as warm. In fact, I find it leans neutral on my complexion. In contrast, Tan is noticeably more neutral, bordering on cool-toned on me. A number of you asked for a comparison with her classic Glam palette, which I’ve always found to be quite cool-toned on me.

This year, my top two palettes have been the Natasha Denona Tan and YSL Nude Hours, which I was quite disappointed to find out was limited-edition. I purchased it when it launched and it sold out before I even had the opportunity to review/swatch it, but I sincerely hope they bring it back.
If you’re looking for a more concise smaller version, I also adore the YSL Couture Mini Clutch in 710 Over Brun and just acquired the 310 Exotic Mirage to give it a try. Quick note: the YSL quads retail at $69 each for 5 g while the Natasha Denona Palette is $72 for 17.75g and offers more variety.
Hy-Gloss Launch
Earlier this spring, Natasha Denona introduced her Hy-Gloss Tinted Lip Gloss Balm ($28 each) along with matching Lip Liners ($25 each) and two new shades of Hy-Blush Duos ($42).
The Hy-Gloss was recalled due to a scent issue in the formula. According to their PR team, “Our signature vanilla scent was compromised during production as the bulk was overworked, resulting in an unintended burnt scent.” Therefore, the affected shades were recalled. They have since resolved the problem, although I did not notice any odd smell in them.
The Hy-Gloss boasts a thick, cushiony gloss formula that feels incredibly luxurious on the lips. While I didn’t find it excessively tacky or sticky, it does lean toward the thicker side. I truly appreciate the formula, and the shades are stunning.
Below are swatches of the gloss alongside her suggested pencil pairings. I believe her Lip Pencils are significantly underrated. They glide on smoothly and once set, they are EXTREMELY long-lasting.
She also introduced two new Hy-Blush shades in Lush Lila, which is a uniquely beautiful lilac duo. Nude Muse is the perfect nude combination. Every duo contains a cream highlighter and a cream blush. Although I genuinely love these, they may not be long-lasting during hot summer months as they are dewy and very creamy. I can prolong the wear if I set with a powder, and they will perform well through a date night or dinner out. However, if you live in a humid or warm climate, these may appear extra dewy within a few hours.
Overall, the Tan Eyeshadow Palette is a definite success for me. I adore the neutral shades and after extensively experimenting with this, I can affirm that I have utilized every shade in the palette and each one performs exceptionally well.
