Chanel Beauty’s summer has officially begun with the launch of their Les Beiges Coastal Summer Collection. I managed to pick a few items from the line, but unfortunately, I couldn’t grab the Les Beiges Summer Essentials basket set before it was sold out.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Eyeshadow Palette
The standout item for me in this collection is the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Eyeshadow Palette in Soft ($77). It features the loveliest neutrals that offer just a touch of color, definition, and luminosity. The pigmentation leans softer, but I really appreciate the delicate appearance! The texture is incredibly smooth.
Rouge Coco Flash
Currently, my go-to lip product from Chanel is the Rouge Coco Flash, and the three new summer shades boast remarkably strong pigment! The new shades consist of Sweet (a neutral, which is my favorite), Zesty (tomato red), and Fruity (plum). Based on your responses to this preview post, it seems that many of you adore the purple hue!
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush + Highlighter
I really enjoy testing new complexion products, especially those from the Les Beiges collection, for that effortlessly radiant no-makeup look. However, I’m a bit torn about the new Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush in Sorbet and the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Highlighter in Summer Gleam ($56 each). I absolutely love the idea and the colors, but I found these a tad tricky to apply and blend without disturbing my foundation.
There are three shades of Les Beiges Healthy Glow Blush (with one exclusive to the sold-out set) and two individual options. I chose Sorbet, the pink, which is the most stunning shimmery pink.
The Les Beiges Healthy Glow Highlighter comes in Summer Gleam, a pearlescent pale frosty pink shimmer. On my skin, the color appears light, bordering on white, but in person, a subtle pink shift becomes visible when light hits it.
I do enjoy them if I use just the blush, or by blending the blush and highlighter on the back of my hand before applying to my face. The blending process is a bit excessive for my taste, but the colors are truly beautiful.
New Le Vernis
There are two new Le Vernis shades, and I was surprised by your feedback! Many of you are enamored with Garconne, which matches my skin so closely it creates an almost mannequin-like effect. Personally, I’m not a huge fan, but you ladies love it! I find Baigneuse to be such a fun blue! I plan to try it on my toes for my next pedicure.
Les Beiges Serum Concealer
Another new addition is the Les Beiges Serum Concealer ($53 each). Although it isn’t technically part of the Les Beiges color range, it is new for summer. I think it’s one of the most beautiful glowing concealers I’ve ever used. I tried both B30 and B40 in action here, and I prefer B30 for my BD41 Chanel skin tone. Quick swatches are shown next to the Chanel Ultra Le Teint Concealer; I’m still compiling my concealer roundup!
